YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

The Government Information Service (GIS) mourns the passing of Norman "Charlie" Charlemagne (13 May 1937 – 15 July 2026). As a dedicated information technician, Charlie painstakingly archived and preserved decades of Saint Lucia’s audio-visual history, safeguarding invaluable government records and cultural heritage for future generations.

Beyond his vital behind-the-scenes contributions, he was a devoted family man, a gifted musician, and a warm, generous colleague whose presence will be deeply missed. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
