3:33Now PlayingThe Ministry of Health, Wellness and Nutrition recently hosted a Suicide Prevention Workshop to strengthen the clinical knowledge and skills of health professionals to prevent suicidal behaviors. The workshop brought health professionals in Saint Lucia together with representatives from Etablissement Public de Sante Mentale de la Guadeloupe to share their experiences and engage in discussions on the effective intervention strategies to prevent suicidal behaviors.
One of the major highlights of the workshop was the need for shared responsibility and the role everyone in society, that is individual, organisation must play in suicide prevention.
