Laptops for Form One Students Delivered to Schools

For hundreds of students across Saint Lucia, the transition to secondary school this week came with more than new classrooms, new teachers and new expectations.

It also came with a powerful reminder that learning today extends far beyond the walls of a classroom.

As the Department of Education and Digital Transformation commenced its island-wide distribution of laptop computers to Form One students, another generation of learners took an important step into a more connected, more innovative and increasingly digital learning environment.

The two-day exercise forms part of the Government's continuing investment in educational technology and its commitment to ensuring that every student enters secondary school equipped with the tools needed to learn, explore and succeed in the twenty-first century.
