"With news that some Democratic lawmakers plan to boycott President Donald Trump's first State of the Union address, legal analyst and Fox Business' Bob Massi told Fox News that the Democrats are "potentially racist against" Trump.
Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt asked Massi: "Why do Democrats think that they can use the president's speech as a political statement?"
He replied, "Well, to be clear, as a citizen I objected whenever President Obama was there and the justices and [Senator] Ted Cruz decided to boycott. I thought that was inappropriate. And so I feel this way, I don't believe — this is the most reverent chamber of government in the world, and for them to use this as a platform to basically send a message, it just shows disrespect to the office itself."
Massi added, "if you disagree with the man, disagree with him, but at least respect the office that he holds." He then veered into a series of bizarre questions incorrectly suggesting that racism works both ways."
