---Donald Trump Jr. has found himself the subject of mockery on Twitter after an interview in which he described Democrats as “left of commie” shortly after accusing the party of McCarthyism.
Speaking to Fox News’s Jesse Watters on Saturday evening, the president’s eldest son lashed out at his father’s opponents during a discussion on the ongoing Russia probe. His series of statements immediately prompted a social media backlash.
“You see the Democratic senators [saying], 'This is McCarthyism.' I'm, like, What? You have a guy screaming, 'Russia, Russia, Russia' with no evidence," Trump Jr. said in the interview, suggesting the Democrats’ accusations were akin to McCarthyism.---
