---"I have been called savior and sinner, fool and wise man, crusader and exploiter, hothead and dope," Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera says in marketing materials for his new book, "The Geraldo Show," set to be published in April. The book has Rivera doing a lot of media interviews — for better or worse — and in his comments on sexual harassment, he comes across far more fool than wise man.
In an interview this week with SiriusXM host Howard Stern, Rivera defended his friend Bill O'Reilly, who was ousted from his position as the top-rated host in cable news amid charges of sexual harassment. O'Reilly was forced from his prime time perch a year ago, amid reports he and Fox News had paid out millions of dollars in settlements to multiple women who had accused the star of harassment. Fox News has worked tirelessly to change the subject, and put scandals — which included former host Gretchen Carlson accusing the network's chairman, Roger Ailes, of sexual harassment — behind them.---
