Co-host Brian Kilmeade introduced the segment by showing a snippet of the ad that featured Kaepernick before introducing guest and former professional basketball player Brock Gillespie.
The entirety of the Nike spot focuses on sacrifices made by aspiring athletes who went on to great success, but it was Gillespie that suggested Nike should have opted for divine intervention, saying “if they want to make an ad about sacrificing why don’t they go all the way. If this is Nike put Jesus on there.”"*
