Sam Seder: When you look back to different times where people have said progressives should leverage their votes because it is going to do something in terms of the public opinion about something. Understand that the you cannot make these calculations in a vacuum, we have a corporate media that is also to the extent that there's any ideology and i don't care I mean if you're talking about Fox you're talking about CNN or talking about msnbc, I can tell you at the very least the administration of whatever the corporate leadership of msnbc whether it's you know whether you're talking about its ownership in terms of the Comcast or GE and I don't know how much GE owns of it anymore he used to own 51 percent uh back in the day it's definitely a minority share if it has any, which largest maker of weapons in the country maybe the world... They are not going to side with progressives, much less leftists.
