I mean frankly, if you want to talk about political salience you do your attempt at getting rid of the filibuster. you don't get rid of it. should have been done a long time ago. you do your attempt at the filibuster and then what you do is you just play this club from fox news over and over again. If you really show how completely insane Republicans are when it comes to voting rights. Let's be clear, one of the key provisions of the voting bills there's a couple of them that the democrats want to pass but in both of them is a fix of section 5 of the voting rights act. The voting rights act was passed in the mid-1960s with pressure from millions of people marching, many of whom were led by dr. Martin Luther king.
