YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIt's frustrating that people who believe in a political ideology that is based on cooperation can't seem to stop fighting with each other. Since 2016 (and honestly long before) American leftists have debated about voting for Democrats, who are only marginally better than Republicans for the purpose of harm reduction or forming a new party that truly represents their values.

Caller: I want to thank Nomi for bringing up the fact that the infighting is so horrible and I know that the left infighting is basically a meme at this point. but I was having a conversation with my significant other and she is sort of on the left. She is very much cut from a leftist communist socialist class. and she's of this opinion that you know basically Democrat Republican doesn't make a difference. and the point that I brought up to her was how do you explain that to people who are in you know Kentucky or Tennessee or texas or maybe not Tennessee. I can't remember each state. but you know the women who are abortion rights are being taken away from them. you can't argue in good faith with them if we had you know even corporate democrats who at least have a slightly more socially left agenda than typical republicans. or the entire republican party. you can't make an argument in good faith that even if we had corporate democrats running the show that we would still see these attacks on human rights from the right. and I get it like democrats and republicans, especially on economic issues you know they walk in lockstep. and they march to the orders of capital. I think that's very clear. But I wanted to get some takes here because I think there's a pretty disparate mindset here when it comes to politics and I think that we span the spectrum from leftist to liberal in this room. I don't want to name names, you guys can figure that out for yourself.
