Things aren't looking too good for Dr. Oz in the Republican Senate primary in Pennsylvania. His race has tightened with Kathy Barnette now surging in the polls.

Brian in the Poconos, what's on your mind?

How are you all doing? I was just calling in about the pa senate race. I'm in the Poconos obviously in Pennsylvania. I've called in before about psychotic right-wing. But I don't know if you guys have seen that Kathy Barnett is tearing the Trump coalition apart. It sounds a lot like Fetterman is gonna oust Conor lamb. You know finally, the establishment worthless democrats are gonna get shellacked with Fetterman I think.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah right one can hope but this Kathy Barnett character is kind of coming out of nowhere running down the middle again I think it's McCormick and Dr. Oz. and I didn't know if anybody had seen her. She's actually like one of these suburban moms from Montgomery county. But she's running an insurgent campaign and got a massive bump now. And is tied with Dr. Oz because she came out as a baby that was conceived through rape. So of course with all the roe v wade stuff going on that gave her a huge bump in the polls. But my concern with how things are going in Pennsylvania is that everybody here, like on the right, is completely unhinged. Just completely unhinged. It's so radical here. It seems to be escaping media attention because states like Pennsylvania are very gerrymandered. My concern is if these lunatics end up getting into power here at the state and local levels as well as the federal level. We'll end up seeing the majority of Pennsylvanians ignored with Roe being tossed out. and Kathy Barnett is kind of encapsulating all of that. now with abortion I typically take the position I'm pro-choice. but I take the position that you can't force somebody to have an abortion. No, I misspoke, you can't force someone to carry a term in a society when there's no other law that can make a man donate part of his body to another third party. and I don't know it's difficult when you have someone like Kathy Barnett because she's claiming to be you know a child conceived of rape. I don't know if you guys have any way to disarm that. I just try to stick to the discussion about organ donation and I completely ignore all the life stuff. I just didn't know if you guys had any input on how to confront that type of rhetoric.
