This may be a problem. There was a time in this country where the idea of pardoning somebody, so they didn't testify and bring you down in a criminal case was considered bad. There also was a time in this country where like there was some semblance of like you know government officials should act with some measure of professionalism and it shouldn't be some type of like super crony system, you know particularly more on a federal level. That's why you have so many like the senate confirms all these different people and everybody registers and whatnot, and it's not like you know the president is not some type of like crime boss, right? He's not some big guy sitting at the top he's not the capo but in, but well wait for a second.
