Scotland is the first country to offer tampons, sanitary pads, and other menstrual products free of charge. they're free to anyone in Scotland who needs them. This is two years after they passed the legislation. this according to the new york times. they're the first country in the world to provide these products. Essentially you know like I mean on some level it's like a sort of medicaid if you will. although i imagine you don't have to know go through all the hoops and whatever it's just you order it. in the same way they did i mean we know you can do this. They did it with the tests. I got probably a dozen or ten free tests through the mail from the US government. I probably got another half a dozen to come home with my kids at school. This is doable. we can do it. and here's the thing very easy to predict how much of these products ultimately that you're going to need. Because most women need them. From you know preteen years through i don't know 30s, 40s, 50s into those most. and there's no reason why the government shouldn't provide this for folks who can't afford it. or just you know whatever just want it. people can decide whatever is more convenient for them.
