YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAlaska Rep. Mary Peltola said on MSNBC that she wouldn't be supporting the agreement that Congress has put forward after President Biden directed Congress to resolve an impending rail workers strike because it doesn't include robust enough sick leave accommodations for the workers. Peltola says that "I just don't think it's right or fair to expect workers go to work sick as a dog." She also clarifies that the deal needs to not only include the option of sick days for workers, but the guarantee that they can take sick days without concern over being fired as a result.
