Did You Know Tulsi Gabbard Grew Up In A Homophobic Cult?

The group, which was founded by Chris Butler, also known as "Jagad Guru," teaches that homosexuality is a form of "deviant behavior" and encourages conversion therapy. Gabbard has faced criticism for her past association with the group and for her own past statements and actions regarding LGBTQ+ issues. She has apologized for her previous views and has said that she no longer holds these beliefs. However, some have questioned the sincerity of her apology and have pointed to her continued support from Butler and other members of the cult as evidence of her ongoing ties to the group.

And I mean she's like you always say that she looks like she's in a cult, a cult leader. She was. She grew up in this. Yeah no I don't say that just to be I guess mean. If there was a whole piece in the lead-up to the primary I believe it was New York Magazine. Let me just check that. That you might enjoy. I think it's yeah New York Magazine where they detail it came out in 2019. Yeah and then it seems like the major tenet of this cult is just homophobia. Yep. You know Michael Michael was on this very very very early. And would talk about this extensively. And of course, you know she pretended like she had some type of Reformation for a while. There was like an 18-month period where Gabbard sort of downplayed this. sorry for all that thing where I started my career helping my dad try to take rights away from gay people. right and you know like a salmon she has come home essentially.
