Here is Ben Shapiro trying to lay the groundwork because there's a real problem that the Republicans have now. is that they don't really have any tasks to sort of promulgate. like they can't really leverage at this point. and I do think it is because of trump. they can't leverage what their golden chalice always is in these debt ceiling fights which is cuts to Social Security and Medicare. at least in the short term. in the debt ceiling fight. They are trying to sell this notion that they're cutting wokeness from the military. which everyone knows is a joke. and so they're trying to figure out how they're going to do this and actually sort of show that they're bucking the Democrats in some way. and so Ben Shapiro's out there doing the hard work of trying to foam the runway for the potential debt ceiling. crashing through the debt ceiling. which is again a reminder that would be the first time in the history of the United States that we defaulted on loan payments. Here is Ben Shapiro. if Washington doesn't screw up with the debt ceiling. but they'll probably screw it up with the debt ceiling. and then we can blame all of the Republicans for what is obviously bad economic policy on the part of the Democrats. Right, well we had this thing handled and then in the game Kevin McCarthy and Marjorie Taylor Greene and ruined everything. and so you're going to see the media play up the debt ceiling debate to extraordinary Heights. right they're going to always claim whenever there's a government shutdown that the end of the world is now. it never is. there's never a zombie apocalypse.
