YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWriter Emily Schrader responded on Twitter to footage of Palestinian children playing soccer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where worshippers were brutally beaten by Israeli police. She said it doesn't seem like they care that much about the sanctity of the mosque if they'd play soccer on its grounds.
Forward columnist Muhammad Shehada quote tweeted Schrader's comments and clarified that it isn't offensive for kids to play games on the grounds of a mosque as long as it doesn't interfere with prayer times.
Schrader later deleted her tweet, but the incident sparked a debate on social media about the role of children in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
