YouTube Description
as posted by the channelSen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) clashed over the issue of Supreme Court ethic during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing,
Whitehouse, a leading critic of the US Supreme Court, touted legislation he introduced that would require justices to adopt a code of ethics. The Democrat argued that the current system is inadequate, and that it allows justices to get away with unethical behavior.
Kennedy, meanwhile, defended the court and its justices. He said that there is no danger of rogue justices acting unethically, and that Democrats are simply finding things to complain about because they are not winning every judicial decision.
