On Friday, in a development not surprising since Bush v. Gore, the Supreme Court has agreed to examine a case challenging Donald Trump's eligibility for the presidency. This move sets the stage for the final resolution of a constitutional dispute that could potentially remove Trump from the ballot in several states. The justices will expedite the review of the December ruling by the Colorado Supreme Court, which found the former president disqualified under the 14th Amendment due to his involvement in the "insurrection" on Jan. 6. Oral arguments for this historic case are scheduled for Feb. 8.
