Wondering whats the most important item to pack?
Thank you SO MUCH to Zhanna for donating several items that made this shoebox extra special! ππ
Also, a BIG THANK YOU to Made By Mel Studios (Find her on Instagram!) for donating the beautiful handmade adjustable cross bracelets ππ
Answering a few questions:
π Why aren't you using OCC Standard boxes? Are the plastic boxes you use even allowed??
--I've contacted OCC each year that I have packed with these plastic containers to ensure these are OCC approved.
Here is a direct response from OCC this year (2021):
"Hi, Jessica! You're welcome to use any shoebox, cardboard or plastic. Please note, we will send any shoebox we receive regardless of size and there is no strict size limit on the boxes or containers you can use.
We hope this provides clarity as you continue to pack shoeboxes, or gospel opportunities, for children in need around the world. Many Blessings!"
--My primary reason for using these certain containers has been two-fold: reusablity and durability. The OCC reusable containers are a new thing, as you know, and since I buy my plastic containers in bulk and already have all I need this year to pack, I'll be packing with these again this year.
However, next year, I will be switching, Lord willing to the standard OCC reusable containers!
π In this shoebox, why did you leave the plastic on the puzzle and the stickers in the plastic sleeve??
-- I left the puzzle in the plastic bag to help protect the puzzle from damage.
-- The stickers come off easily and require a sleeve to prevent this. I did consolidate and put all stickers into one plastic sleeve.
