Each patient is supported physically and spiritually as each ward has its own chaplain on standby, ready to bring reassurance and the Gospel to each patient. Samaritan's Purse helps the Kijabe Hospital achieve this mission by supporting a local chaplaincy training program, where local evangelists are trained to be the hands and feet of Christ for those in the most need. After each chaplain completes their training, they are prepared and led by the Gospel to remind each patient and each patient's family that God will always be there to help them even in their time of hardship.
