Rent-To-Rent Explained In Detail. Legislation and Rules.
Rent To Rent (Rent2Rent) is a property strategy where you make money from property without owning the property. You do this by guaranteeing to pay a landlord a fixed monthly rent with a management agreement. You then rent the property yourself but you push the rental value up by changing the properties use from a single-let to a HMO or Serviced Accommodation Property.
In this video I will be answering:
Is this legal? Is it not subletting?
Do you need to get a license or planning permission to do this?
Do you need to tell the mortgage provider and what will they say?
What if you can't rent out the rooms yourself? Then you are in a bad situation.
What landlord would agree to do with with a "newbie" property entrepreneur?
