Samuel Leeds Foundation was officially registered on 29th November 2019 (Charity Number: 1186669), but the idea was conceived in 2009 when I was in Zambia, Africa, and I came across a young boy who had no clean water in his village. I re-located his village a few years later and constructed a borehole that went 110 meters deep and provided clean drinking water for the village.
I have had the privilege of helping many different villages now in multiple countries in Africa, not just bringing water but also education and training. I have been delighted to bring out some of my success students and friends from the UK to help with some of the projects.
More recently, in October 2019, we initiated a partnership with the Ugandan Government and have located where we will be building a school once coronavirus has passed. I am extremely excited about this project as well as the existing ones that have taken place over the last few years.
