as posted by the channelThis is Errol, he is a hero to families displaced by Hurricane Sandy staying in hotels. He lost everything in the storm but spends every waking hour helping others. When the storm surge came up to their 2nd floor apartment in Hammels Houses in Far Rockaway, this evacuated to shelters and eventually to the Park Central Hotel when they put their three kids in PS 111. Samaritan Village, their case management workers evicted them 2 weeks before their checkout date and sent them back to their mold infested apartment. All the children suffer from asthma and have frequent attacks.
This happy moment when the kids read letters to Errol was just magic...for all of us.
