‘People say, I have the right to speak out because it’s in the 1rst Amendment. NO.
The 1rst Amendment was created to protect the right to free speech that existed when the founders came here, and established it as an inalienable right.
So even if the 1rst Amendment was taken away, I submit, that we as a people have an inalienable right, no one can take away from us, to speak out’
On July 4th Norman Siegel and friends gather to read the Constitution in Eleanor Roosevelt Park. This year in #Declaration17 he talks about the 'unalienable' right to free speech and a free press, and suggests the WH press corp could sue for access to the people's house
