YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAfter being friends with Bob Dorough for 53 years, I had an opportunity to interview him in April of 2017 after a gig at the Kitano Hotel. He was 93 at the time.
We spoke about meeting his writing partner, my 'old man' Stuart Scharf, Spanky and Our Gang and School House Rock, which came relatively late in his career.
I asked the inevitable question, to what do you ascribe your longevity? I asked it as a joke, y but the answer made me cry.
RIP dear friend. You are the light of this world.
