10:15Now PlayingOn August 24, 2019 a group of volunteer lawyers from Lawyers For Good Government walked across the border at Matamoros, Mexico to help asylum seekers prepare the paperwork for their court dates. The have been sent back to across the border after being in detention in the 'icebox' before being sent back because of Trump's Remain In Mexico program known as MPP.
The lawyers saw 130 asylum seekers in 100 degree weather and brought across the border a pregnant woman and two i9families with children who have Down Syndrome.
