In this video I talk about the Disney+ original series The Mandalorian and what has become a favorite character for many, baby Yoda. I talk about some of the critiques of baby Yoda, who is making them & why I think those critiques are wrong. I also explain what a Mary Sue actually is, how it is being used, and why Rey's feats in the sequel trilogy both are and are not indicative in her character being a Mary Sue. I then move on from this conversation & explain my issues with baby Yoda, both in terms of my dislike for fan service & in terms of the break from Yoda's function in the original trilogy.
