Today I talk about how the media manufactures racial tension in America. The example I use is the Dylann Roof Burger King Story. Roof is a disgusting person, he was convicted of one of the most vicious hate crimes/domestic terrorist attacks in recent history. Despite the fact that the vast majority of people hate Dylann Roof and consider him a horrific person, the media pretended that the police somehow showed support for or tacitly approved of his actions. Despite the fact that the Shelby PD operates in a small town, and like many small town departments they don't have a jail facility. This means that when the Shelby PD decided to get Roof Burger King, they did so because it is illegal to not feed a suspect, and BK was likely the closest and cheapest option.
