Major Gun Control Case Hits The Supreme Court

In this video I discuss the Supreme Court's decision to take up a 2nd Amendment case for the first time in over 10 years. On the Surface New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Corlett is a pretty straightforward case. New York's regulations on concealed carry are not an outright ban, however the laws effectively act as a ban on citizen's rights to bear arms. The Court should recognize that NYS is intentionally and effectively restricting 2nd Amendment rights to the point where they're non-existent. With that being stated I do believe that this is a huge risk due to the recent politicization of the Court. Members of the conservative side of the Court have in the past broken with principle and reason to appear less political and there's a chance that certain justices would sacrifice this case to appease the left who already is targeting the court
