In this video I talk about the recent budget deal that was passed by both houses of congress & signed by the president. Some so called conservatives have shied away from covering this because it is a story about the Republican party failing to live up to their promises. However, I hold no loyalty to this president or any other for that matter. This deal is horrific, it increases spending by 500 billion dollars over the next 2 years. It undoes modest cuts in the rate of government growth passes in 2011's budget control act, & it was passed when the republicans, supposedly the "conservative" party controls the government. The national debt is the most important issue facing the country. It's size and scope compromise our government's ability to do anything, and to jack up spending now without any need, is absurd. So of course the republicans did it anyway.
