In this video I breakdown Donald Trump's announcement on DACA & the media reaction to it. This is yet another case of nothing major happening, & the media losing their mind over it. If you analyze what the President actually did, he kept all of the current DACA protections, the only change being that new people will not be admitted. He also pledged to not deport a single non-criminal person in the DACA program & urged Congress to pass DACA into law. This of course is a far cry from his tough talk on immigration present during the campaign, yet the media has decided to paint these events as the rise of Trump's deportation force, a nightmare for the dreamers, the Armageddon of immigration decisions.
