Senators Harry Reid and Jack Reed were joined today by VoteVotes.org Chairman Jon Stoltz to urge passage of this funding in order to avoid costly and counterproductive disruptions to military operations. "President Obama has drastically scaled down the size of the supplemental and encouraged the defense budgeting process to better incorporate wartime spending, but there is still a dire need for this supplemental," said Senator Jack Reed.
