For policies or plans starting on or renewed after today, insurers will be banned from placing lifetime limits on coverage and from cancelling coverage retroactively, insurance plans will be forced to cover preventative care without cost-sharing, and young adults will be able to stay on their parents' insurance until age 26, among other important benefits.
