The Republican plan includes an Age Tax on those between the ages of 50-64, which would make health care unaffordable for millions of older Americans. Senators Casey, Gillibrand and Hassan will release a new fact sheet highlighting how the GOP’s Age Tax will harm older Americans. The Senators will be joined by Susan Flashman, a 63-year-old Maryland woman, who battled a brain tumor in 2011 but was able to receive care because of insurance market protections. Under the GOP’s Age Tax, Susan’s health insurance would have been unaffordable.
