With 41 straight months of unemployment over 8 percent and 23 million Americans unemployed or underemployed, raising taxes on job creators is the worst possible thing we could for our struggling economy. Democrats' attempt to hold the economy hostage to their desire for tax hikes is the height of irresponsibility. Democrats need to work with Republicans to extend the current tax rates for all Americans while we work on fundamental tax reform.
