Dec 25, 20221:01Now PlayingMerry Christmas. I hope this holiday season brings everyone a chance for prayer, family time, and gift-giving.
In the coldest, darkest part of the year, the beauty of Christmas brings light and warmth to us all.
Today, I’m thinking especially of the brave servicemembers and Kentuckians in uniform who are spending the holiday away from home.
And I’m praying for all Kentuckians, like our first responders, healthcare workers, and brave police, who are giving up time with their families to keep the rest of us safe.
Cherished family traditions and presents are, of course, part of the joy we feel this holiday season.
But the true promise of Christmas – the birth of our Savior – brings comfort to us all, wherever we might find ourselves today. That promise is as welcome this year as ever.
I wish you all a happy, restful holiday.
