3:48Now PlayingMy office brought together 225 Vermont students from eight school choruses to participate in a day-long event at South Burlington High School. The students spent the day rehearsing with a guest conductor and attending music education sessions. I enjoyed speaking to the students about the importance of art and music education in our schools, as well as many other topics that were on their minds. The eight choruses then performed a wonderful concert before a packed auditorium. It is clear these young Vermonters have put in a tremendous amount of hard work, learning not just how to sing as individuals, but also, how to come together and work as a team.
