3:41Now PlayingIt’s March for Meals! My staff will again be joining Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers to deliver nutritious meals to Vermont seniors all across the state. Meals on Wheels delivered nearly 828,000 meals in Vermont last year, helping thousands of seniors stay healthy and in their homes. At a time when nearly half of all seniors are unable to afford their basic living expenses and almost 9.5 million seniors face the threat of hunger, quality nutrition programs like Meals on Wheels are more important than ever. I will continue to fight to make sure that these programs are fully funded and available to all Americans who need them.
