Murray Objects to Israel-Only Aid Bill, Calls for House Vote on National Security Supplemental

U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, again objected to an attempt to pass House Republicans’ bill to deliver military assistance to Israel alone. Senator Murray reiterated the need to comprehensively address the urgent national security challenges we face and underscoring that the surest and fastest way to stand by our allies is for the Speaker to finally put the Senate’s comprehensive, bipartisan national security supplemental—that passed overwhelmingly over two months ago—up for a vote.
