YouTube Description
as posted by the channelLast week, Kraft shut down a 44-year-old factory in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, putting more than 400 people out of work. It’s one of the seven facilities accounting for roughly 2,600 jobs that Kraft has pledged to eliminate since July 2015, when it was acquired by Heinz.
“When I started here, this parking lot was full of employees,” former Kraft Heinz employee Denise Mooney told VICE News correspondent Roberto Ferdman. She worked at the factory for more than a decade. “As the years have gone by, and as the months have gone by, it’s gotten smaller and smaller.”
This segment originally aired Nov. 18, 2016, on VICE News Tonight on HBO.
