And according to Twitter, it’s dealing with problems of its own: its users have for too long been restrained by a mere 140 characters.
The platform — known for its well-thought out opinions, insular humor and exposing perverts — announced Tuesday that it was trialling tweets with twice as many characters to allow you to "express yourself." Following the announcement, Twitter users immediately did what they do best: freak out about minor tweaks.
