In a stunning turnaround, these rangers are saving endangered species and Congo's bio-diverse forest, and are even transforming the local economy, cutting off revenue streams to the various rebel groups operating there.
VICE's Ben Anderson trained and patrolled with the rangers over 10 years ago. He returned to see the remarkable progress they're making.
