One of the family members-- Garett Vollstedt-- says his phone number has basically become a dispatch for people in the area since the fire started. Since it’s spread so quickly, there is no real coordinated effort from fire teams to combat it so it’s come down to grassroots volunteers like Vollstedt and his family to lead the charge.
