as posted by the channel‘Boris’ – a Colombian national who grew up in London’s Grenfell Tower – shares his story by filming on a contraband phone, documenting his survival struggle.
Boris is a Colombian inmate who grew up in Ladbroke Grove, London after moving to the UK at 3 years old with his mum. After numerous young offenders sentences, he eventually got a 9 year EPP sentence with a deportation order. After completing 39 months of the 9 years he was sent back to Colombia with just £80. He quickly fell into the gangs to survive there and had to participate in serious crimes. Eventually he was caught up in the assassination on his boss where he was also shot, he managed to kill the assassin but was arrested at the hospital. He was then charged with another kidnap and murder eventually receiving a 37 year sentence for both crimes. He is now in one of the world's worst prisons where there are no guards and it is completely controlled by inmates.
