as posted by the channelAfter more than a week of mass demonstrations against his regime, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has announced he won't run in September's elections.
In a speech on state television, the autocratic ruler said he would step down when his term ends.
Mubarak says he'll devote the next few months to a peaceful transfer of power - and promised to bring in reforms.
It comes after a day in which at least one million people joined protests across Egypt.
