Tens of thousands of people have signed a petition asking for him to given clemency, with actress Susan Sarandon saying he is "clearly innocent".
However, authorities in Oklahoma have repeatedly said that the execution will proceed.
Glossip has always denied arranging or paying for the murder of his boss.
