14:05Now PlayingShadow Chancellor John McDonnell has said the British public want openness and transparency when it comes to the financials of those in Government.
It comes in light of Prime Minister David Cameron publishing details of his own finances, following the mishandling of the Panama Papers scandal.
Speaking on Sky News' Murnaghan programme, McDonnell said: "The general public are really concerned about the fairness of the taxation system. So I think it will set a good standard for us all."
