4:40Now PlayingTrevor Phillips, former chairman of the Equalities and Human Rights Commission, has said individuals from black and ethnic minority backgrounds (BME) are more likely to vote for the UK to remain in the European Union in next month's referendum.
Speaking on Sky News' Murnaghan programme, Phillips said: "Intuitively they are more global in their outlook and the first thing they are going to think is we live in a rough world and actually we need to be part of a big group to be able to compete with China and America."
