Vince didn’t want to talk at first, but once we mentioned Scotland, he had a lot to say. He voted out because, he says, Europe is responsible for his struggling Hull-based tyre business. He’s got no sympathy for MPs and thinks Britain can look after itself, with or without its neighbours to the north.
“If Scotland want to stay in, they’ll have to join up with the EU, use the Euro and they can get their own passports. I thought Scotland was a part of England but it’s quite obvious they don’t want to be.”
